good location, economic, other people staying there are friendly, good conversation

lack of parking, the university has a very confusing parking system, toilet room too far away from rooms

    Good

We were out around downtown-core most of the time, using the hotel only for sleeping, and for this it was well worth. The location of the residence is a stones throw from everything a person in downtown core would want to see, and the hotel reception staff was very helpful and cordial in aiding us to find the locations of certain destinations we wanted to visit. They were patient with us even during late night hours (3am) and for that I am highly appreciative.

Bathroom/shower facilities were a little nerve racking to use as they were not clean (even when compared to a public bathroom..) and there was a feeling of severe isolation when in the facilities or walking the halls. Floor staff would be preferred as a feeling of insecurity was present when not behind our locked hotel door. The elevator was out of service for our stay which I suppose could not be helped, but a sign would have been good. All in all, my main point would be to check and clean the shower stalls, and to have night staff in the floors monitoring the floors, for the sake of everyone's safety.

    Superb

Great location and great price. Very clean. Streetcar stop right outside the main door. Friendly helpful staff. Bathrooms and common rooms cleaned regularly. Very safe area. Great for someone looking to explore the city on a cheap budget. Stayed there with my mother and both of us would highly recommend it and stay again. Great value for money.

Make sure and bring extra towels as only 1 small towel provided. Also if planning on making food in common room make sure and bring your own plates, cutlery, etc. We used have breakfast or lunch there most days and bought plastic picnic wear in a shop down the road so it was fine. Common room clean with oven, hob, fridge, tv etc. Very handy as expensive to eat out in Toronto everyday!!

    Very good

Low cost, great location, easy to find, easy to check into, helpful staff.

Beds are standard dorm beds, bathrooms are showing their age, parking is equal to about half the cost of the room rental.

    Exceptional

This is the best bargain in Toronto! The location is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and the people very friendly.

Best deal for that area, may not be the best for every one bc it's on campus and not really for the family type. I don't have a family and was visiting the school and it was great.

    Exceptional

It`s situated in the centre of Toronto. Many sights are in walk distance. It`s a University of Toronto dorm, so you wont have much for your money. But it`s cozy and you can use University facilities.

Great location in heart of Toronto.

There were ants on the sofa in the common room (same room as the kitchen) and also ants on the floor in my room. In addition, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable - had very bad back pain. Also, there were communal male and female washrooms on my floor. Strict guidelines about men and women being separate. However, on numerous occasions found men in the womens washrooms using the facilities.

Excellent location, very nice and clean room, very helpful personnel and excellent value for money - I expected much worse for this price

    Very good

It's excellent location, within 10 minutes walk of downtown Toronto, also the more than edequate washroom & kitchen facilities. The reception staff were also friendly & helpful. I also liked the informative enviromental posters & practises in place in the dining hall.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, but I realise it is one of thousands provided for students at the various residential locations & therefore you cannot realistically expect hotel comfort.

The only thing ok about the accommodations was it's location but even that was not great because they had no parking available.

When I booked It said new College Residence. They stuck us in the oldest building they owned with asbestos flooring, smelly rooms and a communal bathroom down the hall. The beds were like cots and they only provided one towel per bed and they were stained. They didn't provide any type of toiletries. I most likely will not use your booking service again because of our stay.

    Fabulous

    Is it very safe location

    Good

Low price and near to the centre of Toronto.

The loundry was not very clean (room 373)... the pillow was dirty (yellow and smelly). Indeed, the optional breakfast is normally offered Monday to Friday but it had already been cleaned up at 9.30 am in the morning.. so no availability at this time. Don't take the word "new" from the designation "New College Residence" seriously because it's a old building and the facilities (bathroom etc.) as well. My conclusion is that even low budget residences have to be clean and provide a reasonable loundry/pillow!

    Very good

    Cheap and affordable.

Noise. The rooms aren't designed to be sound proof. It is very troublesome to be kept awake 'til 2 am while people walk outside and talk loudly. There's no sound proof at all!
